Thanks Donnarae. They do look soft, don't they.

This was shot at about 480mm (a 300mm lens with the Canon D30 is eqivilent to about this focal length). I of course had my camera securely mounted on a tripod, using a cable release to fire the camera.

It never ceased to amaze me how many different colors these fields could look at different times in the day. #1558

Oh...such beauty! This is one of my favorite of yours, Jim! I love that you composed placing the lavender rows on diagonal. What also makes this special to me is that you rarely find lavender color in a scenic...at least not enough of it. A terrific scenic! #10350
