Great shot Bob! You capured the moment nicely. How good/fast does the 10D's AI servo AF track with object coming toward you head on? #891052

Hi Kip, I have not had much problem with the tracking on the 10D although the buffer is quite small. OK some images are out of focus but on a shoot like this the focus range is quite small and it keeps focus quite well. I have recently changed to the 20D and that is without doubt quite awesome in its ability to keep focus on a moving target approaching you. These types of images are my bread and butter shots these days and when you are taking show jumping shots all day in all types of light and weather you need a good camera that will allow you to shoot fast and accurately. The 10D does a good job but does fall down when the light fails. The 20D allows you to extend the ISO to 1600 and still get a usable shot when using a 70 - 200mm lens at f2.8, the 10D you can only get away with an ISO setting of 400 #891119

I like how your photos show more of an emotion than the actual act. A nice change. I am currently limited until I get a better lens :) #4489092
