Unlikely Friends

Description

This is my 18 year old cat "Sterling" and our rescued Blue Jay "Chi". They like to sit on the kitchen table together and watch the birds outside. I don't know if Chi thinks he is a cat or if Sterling is just to old to care one way or the other?
I wish we could all get along like this!!

Hi Bonnie, You slipped in when I was replying to Derek.
Thank you so much for your comment as well! I am overly blessed with furry critters.. 2 dogs, 4 cats, 1 bluejay, 4 koi. I feel like I have a mini zoo, but I love them all! #6890813

Ann Coates level-classic January 06, 2009

This is just the best. There is no way our cat would sit there like that with our bird. Our cat would be licking her lips ready to pounce. It's great to see natural enemies that can get on like this. Humans could learn a lot from them. Very deserved of the editor's pick. #6990335

Elizabeth A. Marker level-deluxe January 06, 2009

Thank you so much Ann! So glad you enjoyed this image! There is to much hate in this world!! Wish people could learn from this! #6990675
