That's a great shot Gary! Looks like heaven to me, wilderness, a landscape that looks alive, and a fast toy :) #27419

Oh Gary...you're making me sick for my hometown!! Back home I took my snowmobile out 3 times a week...sometimes more...love the sport! The entire family was enjoying it.
What fun!

I can smell and feel the brisk, nippy air viewing this! Beautiful pano! #27499

Everyone; I really appreciate your great comments! I'm glad you enjoy my back yard playground!

Birdie, Actually this series of photos is even wider than that. In fact I added the other 3 photos and made a 360° Quicktime VR out of them. It turned out great.

Dolores, I'm glad I brought out some pleasant memories! The nice thing, here in Valdez is that you can just take off from your yard, even in town, because they're legal on the city streets! They're treated just like motorcycles as far as the laws go. If I might ask, where is your home town? #27548

Hi Gary...

My hometown is Fort Kent, Maine and Madawaska, Maine.....on the Canadian border...we used to swim into Canada (St. John River) in the summertime. I'd take the ski doo trail right from my house....there was no limit where you could go. We were allowed 50 feet or so on highways linking to other trails and then have to get off. The Fort Kent ski area is being used for Olympic ski training. I had a Bombardier Ski-Doo 440. Was sooo much fun taking it out most every day. I still remember the smell of the exhaust. #27554
