Working It

Uploaded: March 30, 2008

Description

ISO-100, Shutter-1/500, F/6.3, 100-300 lens.

The Bushtits seemed to be mostly be working on the inside of their nest today. I got this shot a couple of days ago. This is of the male, and he would hold on to a wad of cobwebs with his foot, and stretch them with his beak while hanging upside down. He would then take the webbing and work his way around the branch with it.
