This is beautiful. I do some SX70. what is the CU70 kit? #923437

Kevin Elliott 11/18/2004 12:15:08 PM

Adi, thanks. The CU70 is a close up or 'macro' kit with 3 different lenses/magnifications, focussing frames etc. They come up on ebay occasionally. Needs a polatronic 2350 flash as well. Works well, but you need to underexpose a bit. For me it's a better option than the daylab cos it's cheaper, the daylab isn't available in Europe, and doing it this way, you get the option to adjust colours and contrast in the PC before making the manipulation. Like the daylab, if you don't like the first attempt, then you can start again, without the hassle of going out to re-shoot. Just need a good print, that's all.

There's a picture under accessories here:

Good luck, Kev #923907

Description

This was made from an out of focus print, using a CU70 kit on the SX70. The manipulation has brought in the detail and added texture to the petals. Some fixing & corrections in PWP or PSE afterwards.
