A BP member asked me how I created the effect of background lighting in Photoshop. I used this photo as an example. The PDF document that describes this can be found in the discussion as can the original image.

I am not at all into close up people shots,but I will tell you this,that works like magic.It realy dose make such a difference.Very very impressive and I am sure many will benefit from your info.Lovely shot anyhow both before and after. #865554

Gee thanks Joe. Yes it does help. Having a teenage daughter whose skin can be fabulous one day and very average the next has made me play with photoshop a fair bit :-)
Love your photos from the West - great to see a Sandgroper up here at Betterphoto.
