Description

Window Light. 03/12/08, Ogori, Yamaguchi, Japan. End of the school year here in Japan and the new academic year begins in April. A momento for me--taken from a bouquet offered by one of the elementary schools. But the most touching momentoes were the lovely little crafts gifts the children made for me. Maybe I'll shoot some of those too!

Thanks so much, Colette and Ken!! Yeah...I've done all I can to convince them to put me only in junior highs or high schools (I teach in several schools), but have to admit that these kids' bright, affectionate and enthusiastic smiles have kind of won my heart. Not sure where I'll be teaching beginning April. By the way, one thing that contributes to the sharpness of this image is a very slight poster edge filter in addition to sundry little this and thats here and there. #5631377
