Part 1 Description: I experimented with several things in this assignment - for the first time I tried the RAW + large JPEG setting and "processed" the RAW for the assignment. I don't try and take many portraits, particularly of my partner who rarely likes pictures of himself, so there's no "usual" way I would do this. I used window light, no flash and manual settings with my 60mm macro lens for part 1. In trying to relate to the subject, I found I would forget to watch the exposure settings. Since I just took a histogram class and knew the lighting was tricky, I found myself tempted to break the mood and check the back of the camera. Uploaded on 3/11/2008 3:23:11 AM
