Description

I captured these drops of sea water trailing this gulls path of departure one Sunday morning on Miami's South Beach. The gull was working in the waves and seaweed looking for a breakfast of crab or shrimp and came up empty this time but not me as the lighting in conjunction with the 1/1600 shutter speed froze this moment to share. Enjoy!

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/1600 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 300.00 mm, Model: NIKON D40

Outstanding, Michael. The way you got the gull to stand out against the blue waves is amazing. The DOF is perfect, as is the shutter speed that got the droplets frozen. #5613525

I don't know how I missed this one Michael! I love this moment frozen in time! These are things most people wouldn't even see when a bird leaves the water. Thank you for your wonderful POV and fast shutter speed! I did enjoy seeing this! :-) #5628141
