Terrific idea and execution Bob! Wonderful soft light, colors and image design!! Super timing on the photographers pose and kudos to your model :0) I'm afraid if you got 150 feet away from your camera in Houston it would be a goner :0( #853198

Thanks K, Theresa, Bonnie, Murry, Dan and Colette for your comments.

When I thought up this shot, it was supposed to include a rising sun coming up over the horizon.
I got to the beach in plenty of time to get everything set up, but there was a cloud obscuring the sunrise and by the time it peeked through,...it was far too bright to work with.
I like the way this shot came out...with the soft, ethereal lighting but I plan to re-shoot this at a later date.
And Murry,...I too am concerned about leaving my equipment so far away, but at this beach, and at that hour of the day, there is no one there but me (and a few sea gulls).
