Description

I met Jess at the beach yesterday.. she is a very sweet spinone.. her pale wispy fur blended with the sand so decided to enhance it using the frac filter (crayon wide) erasing back her eyes and tongue

Awesome photo, Susie! I love the composition and great light...and wonderful use of the filter (which I need to check out!). It's funny as what drew me to this is "Jess" is what we call our daughter, although she doesn't quite look like this! :) #867492

G'day, Susie - how is everything going with you?!! This is a FABULOUS capture of Jess, and your filter/editing work has REALLY enhanced this image!! She really DOES look to be a VERY sweet dog!! :o) #5580471

Many thanks Terri, Dominick, R&A, and Carolyn.. she was a sweetie. I read that there is no record of a spinone ever having bitten anyone ~ Jess was certainly a softie :)

I think you've done it, Susie. This is a wonderful portrait of an unusual looking dog and the sandy beach background really worked for you. I'm not a Fractalius fan but your use of it here is so subtle I would not have known you had applied it except for your explanation. I love the natural tones and the glow the filter gives them. #5581197
