This mostly rockly beach gives way to a small area of sand on the southern rim of this cove. Always lovely at sunset on a clear day. Santa Catalina Island is on the horizon.

Awesome shot! I've never photographed Abalone Cove but I've been there multiple times. Do you remember how high the tide was? I'm trying to time a trip when there is a negative low tide, but I'm not sure if that is the proper strategy. Thanks. #7361641
