Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful comment. I had to repair a couple of spots I had not notice before. That's what happens when you get so busy. I actually turned down a birding photo trip today--I never do that--just too many other things that HAVE to be done.

I have never dommented on a POTD before (Jealousy, I suppose) but this is magnificent. Total clarity on every detail, beautiful composition and look on the bird's face, and that awesome background provides the perfect setting.
