A 'hello' from Harry Potter Description: Carnival always is a children's party too. Things are possible that are not allowed the rest of the year. While i was on the road and working on this series, this little one came up to me and tried to stuff confetti inside my collar. I just rose to my toes and laughed, because that was too high for him. He looked at me, stepped back a few steps, took a run, and jumped up - he got, what we wanted and we both laughed... Harry Potter and (the Swedish children-book author) Astrid Lindgren's Pipi Langstrumpf ('Longlegging') were often seen costumes. But of course the more classical masks of the carnival along the Swiss-German border dominated. The big-nosed and -teethed 'Waggis' with his Jimi-Hendrix-hair-do just has to throw confetti at people with one hand and gives a flower with the other. Candies and sweets are given away and collected diligently. And after only three days, it is all over and the grown-ups take over again... Uploaded on 2/18/2008 9:25:27 AM
