I think there both fine but I do swing more towards the first shot you posted. the mass of blackness seems to draw you in. #836141

I think they both have equal merit, Jeffrey, the first for that dramatic dark sky with the star pinpoints of light, the second for all those layers of color and light in the horizon. #837678
