Description

Photo of Monarch of the Glen Country, Loch Laggan. Beautifully amazing place, this was captured off the side of the road. Shame there were no better pathways to get a better capture of this amazing place.

Gorgeous!!! I don't think shooting from the road hurts anything. You have a good perspective higher up. #176233

Excellent capture of this amazing place, Christopher, even the clouds are special, couldn't be more perfect!

Thanks for the comments, though it is a resubmit. I tried to enhance it without spoiling the actual beauty of the photo.

What I was worried about has it spoilt the photo, only tiny adjustments to the original.

Just trying to learn how to use photoshop 6.0 properly and affectively.

Thanks again, Kathryn,Debby,Sharon. :)

Hi Christopher!! You asked for comments so here I am. I like the wide angle at which you shot this. The blue sky is perfect for this landscape..the river on the bottom right leads the eye in..also very complimentary golden color contrast and perfect composition. Nicely done. Did you use a tripod? It seems like it suffered from slight camera shake. I don't go anywhere without my tripod...very important to eliminate any shake that causes slight blur in your images. #923677

Did you use a tripod? It seems like it suffered from slight camera shake.

From the angle, think I did not because the land was so on the side of a hill. I did it in A-Dep Mode to try and get used to the viewfinder field, and see what happens.

To answer your question, really it was on a steep side of a hill it was taken from, just a took a few shots, so unsure if it was the particular one with tripod or without. Cause I moved along the hill as the sun was starting to go down.

Thanks for the comments I appreciate it.
