February Flowers

Uploaded: February 04, 2008

Description

These are fake (hence, February) that I shot on a mirror with a black reflector behind. I also put water on the mirror at the edge of the petals. 50mm 1.8 lens at F11, 1/60 with flash bounce. Minor adj and clean up from RAW file. I was going to apply a blur type filter to disguise the obvious fabric of the flower, but then decided I liked the sharper look.

Kathleen and Carolyn, thanks so much for your great comments! I'm still learning, but I'm really pleased with some of the results I've gotten from my first attempts at RAW. Thanks for taking a look :) #5446880
