CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW
Uploaded: February 04, 2008
On a quiet afternoon at Huntington Beach I noticed this lone communicator under the pier. I was struck with the subtle color variations in the cement probably caused by the constant exposure to salt sea air. To accent, I applied highlight and shadow manipulation, multiply blending and localized desaturation.

Thanks for the nice comment Anna. It's cold here today and your image of a rainy day makes me feel as if I were to step outside I'd get wet even though the sun is shining. Very dramatic image. Well done. Dale #5442206Tiia Vissak February 04, 2008

You're so kind Laura. Believe it or else I took this shot while waiting for my wife to come out of the little girls room. I love geometric shots and after I cropped this I got the idea for the title. One of my favorites from a lucky shot. #6234057Wm Nosal August 31, 2008
