Thank you all so much! This type of illustration is what I used to love back in the old days of "Saturday Evening POst" as a child.
Wanda, no plug-in, I used the paint brushes in PS, there are some tips and lessons on my site if you would like to check it. I also am working on some quick free tips to upload to utube.
