Valerie, Leanne, Murry, and Robin – I want to thank you for your nice comments! I was trying to submit this photo twice before…First time a month ago, the duotone which I made, after submission came up green ;-) so I delete it immediately. Then a couple days ago, this image in black and white was too dark, which gave me thoughts – think what about you do and never submit in a hurry! LOL. This one looks fine now and I am really glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for your time!

Cynthia – for this shot I used 50mm f/1.8 AF Nikkor (1/200sec, F/4.5), which I like for my portrait work. It gave me a nice clear and just as you said crisp images.

Truly outstanding. I did B&W years ago (40) and loved it. Others have mentioned the crispness of the shot, which is true, but even though it is crisp, you have produced a hauntingly soft, smooth, beautifly toned grays, photo that is so pleasing to the eye. The photo itself, at first glance, is almost like a "mirror" image of the same little girl. A truly great photograph!
