Winter's Beginning

Uploaded: November 07, 2002 22:48:54

Description

It was far too early to be up when I caught the sun just beginning to melt the frost off of leaves in our backyard, but it was worth it. Taken with a Nikon F65 with a 300mm lens, no filters, available lighting, handheld, manual focus, auto settings, with the exception of the border - photo unedited from original.

Thanks Cliff and Carol!
There were a few other shots taken on that same morning that I'm hoping to post in the next few days, but I'm afraid that both wind and snow have done their duties to sweep clean the trees. However, that magic hour in the morning is still a favourite time to try and catch the freshness of a new day so I'm attempting to try and catch it more often as it proves most perfect for any type of photo. Thanks again for your encouragement! #22086

Thanks Carol and Cathy! Initially, I wasn't going to enter this one - but I'm glad I did, all doubts aside! #32916
