Gorgeous, Karey! I really like your transfer image from this one (which I saw featured on the Contest page!), but I LOVE this original image! Great composition, sunset sky and colours(!), clarity and detail, silhouettes, and framing! EXCELLENT image! Where was it actually taken, Karey? :) #193240

Thank you Carolyn! This shot was acually taken in my backyard, on Lake Conroe in SE Texas. We've been really lucky with great sunsets this year. #949500

Thanks so much for the feedback, Karey! You are VERY fortunate to have a glorious view like this from your backyard!! If this shot is any indication of the "great sunsets" you have been getting this year, we'd love to see more of them! ;)

My husband Phil and I live very near to Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia, but we face east across the Lake, so sunrises are more 'our thing' from this location - as you may have seen from my gallery!!

We can 'somewhat' capture sunsets from near our place, but it depends on the time of year, and the position of the setting sun! If it is too much towards due west it goes down behind houses and trees! :( ;)

I have thoroughly enjoyed browsing your gallery, Karey - you have MANY great images in it! Keep up the great work, and best wishes from Phil and myself Downunder! :) #949568
