Curiousity
Uploaded: January 06, 2008
Through a small opening in my slider door, just big enough to get my camera out from behind glass, I was staring at him, and he was staring right back at me. I had rigged up a very primitive type of blind with which I attempted to hide behind, but I think he was on to me!

Great job, Laurie. They are so VERY hard to fool. I wish they'd get smart enough to know that lenses don't hurt, ya know? #823082MELODIE C. ROBERTS January 06, 2008

Awesome!! The clarity of this shot, and all your bird photos, is just stunning, Laurie! I love your descriptions, too--it inspires me to try. Although I think I'd need a much longer lens to capture "my" birds, lol. #5316931Laurie Daily January 10, 2008
Thanks so much Colleen! The 200 I am using is not all that long but it is real fast. I set up a small bird "station" right on my back deck, shoot through the window, so I am not really that far away. Once the snow goes, I will remove it as they make quite a mess! #5318261Nikki McDonald January 10, 2008
Terrific expression you captured here, Laurie, and I love your slightly off-center framing of the bird and perch. Great color and detail--another lovely winter bird shot. #5318536Laurie Daily January 11, 2008
