F2.3, 1/80, Brasserie near the Champ de Mars (Eiffel Tower), Paris; My wife Babette waits for me to stop snapping portraits during dinner.... Cropped, cleaned up in Fireworks, noise reduction with Neat Image (400 iso means lots of noise)

Thanks Nancy for the encouraging words! I consider finally making it to finalist status as tangible proof that participating in the BetterPhoto monthly contests since January has improved my work. Looks like I'll have to open a BP Gallery!
