You are too kind Mr. Franklin. This guy was my personal trainer when I was in Atlanta..(although you couldn't tell I had one now!). He wanted to do a calendar, so I've been shooting him throughout this year for a 2002 calendar. I've got to work on that this weekend!

Thank you, again. Are you my #1 fan?

By the way, this one was actually with my new digital camera - Canon Powershot G1. Not bad, eh? I've yet to blow it up and print it out, but it looks like it will be very sharp. I'll let you know how it looks. It sure saves time using digital and elimiates scanning time not to mention expensive scanners.

Speaks well for digital,Colleen. But are you shooting at the highest resolution of which your camera is capable? I hope you are, because you're too good a photographer to do otherwise. Give yourself the most digital information to work with. Shoot for at least 240 ppi, preferably 300, at the image size you'd want to print. In your case, it's worth the money to buy the IBM microdrive, digital wallet, or high-capacity memory card to store these great images. #1282

Thanks Doug. I appreciate your remarks. I'm shooting at the max res. on the 3.3 megapixel Canon. It will print an 8x10 at 200 dpi beautifully. Model portfolios usually take 9x12 prints so it's a little short on the dpi for those prints but acceptable. I found out quickly that a 16mb card was way too small. Looked for the 256mb card, but was hard to find. the 128 card is sufficient at the moment. As long as I'm close to home and can download frequently using a Scandisc Imagemate external drive it's a breeze.

This has been great because it eliminates wasted film, need for polaroids etc.
