Odissi Behind the Curtain

Uploaded: September 08, 2004

Description

“Odissi Behind the Curtain” shows classical Indian dancers’ greater than life-size shadows.

These dancers were illuminated from behind the curtain with strong, deep blue stage lighting; thus, projecting huge dance figures onto the curtain.

I used a Tokina 80-200mm, ATX-Pro, at f/2.8, on a Nikon F90X body. The shutter speed was around 1/15 second using 800ASA Kodak Ektapress film.
