Loopy Light and Glass

Uploaded: December 05, 2007

Description

1/160 @ f/22, ISO 50, 100mm macro, 1 light

I am on a quest to understand light and the ways it plays on glass. This is a plastic slinky-like toy and a glass candlestick. Feel free to leave constructive critique!

well I like it, especially as I am a sucker for lovely colour against black. #802025

Thank you, Leanne. I appreciate your comment! I love bright colors, too. This was a good find for 99 cents!

The comp is great! I love the light and all the reflections! The shape of the glass (edges) is well defined!

Hey, Bob! Thanks a lot for the nice comments. I'm still working with this subject matter. I really liked how the slinky looks kind of fluorescent.

Good luck this month!

I may not understand lighting and glass myself but man this rocks! You've achieved a great look between the two! #5179997

Hi Joannie, thank you so much. Hey, I am still working on that technique for you. I am getting there.
