Pettite Kingbird
Uploaded: December 03, 2007
I captured this little guy from inside my car. I was leaving an Egret Nesting Site viewing station when I saw this Eastern Kingbird through my passenger window. I quietly rolled to a stop, slowly lifted my camera, braced myself against the armrest, and shot a couple of images. Luckily my windows were already down or else he'd have been gone before I got a clear shot.

Thanks so much, everybody. I really should add this to the photo description, but I captured this little guy from inside my car. I was leaving an Egret Nesting Site viewing station when I saw this swallow through my passenger window. I quietly rolled to a stop, slowly lifted my camera, braced myself against the armrest, and shot a couple of images. Luckily my windows were already down or else he'd have been gone before I got a clear shot. And, Bill, I love your image "You Looking At Me? Prothonotary Warbler". Absolutely adorable. #5166974
