Hi Tony...Aren't the rocks in Arizona just fascinating. Here in Western Washington we have lots of rain that promotes trees & lush foliage covering the ground often even in the mtns. As wonderful as that is, sometimes I would like to feast my eyes on the underlying geology. Your photo really captured the 3-D structure delineated by the low sun. #166554

Which lens were you using? It looks very wide.

I'm finally beginning to get a better understanding of shooting with wide angle --keep the horizon line low. I have no idea why it's taken me so long (40+ years) to learn this.
