Great shot Jon. How did you do it? #798979

Jon M. Lamrouex December 01, 2007

This was during one of many walks through the Forest Preserves, (wild wooded areas or reclaimed farmland), around Rockford.

During the late fall I found a field of weeds and wildflowers gone to seed. I used a macro mode with the aperture open fairly wide, (f/4.5) to blur the background. It was very windy and the 1/125 sec was not quite fast enough.

I still like the photo and will try it again when the weather is more cooperative. (Maybe next year)

Thanks for the nice comment.
