Description

Walking around the Rome's main train station, Termini, there are many interesting buildings and ominous structures. The chimney is along-side the track with a long, thin, fascist-era building stretching towards the main terminal. I used my widest lens to create the effect of the chimney reaching to the sky. - Camera Settings: f/8, 1/200, 16mm, ISO 200 - Adobe Lightroom: adjusted contrast & clarity, decreased saturation, added vignetting - Adobe Photoshop: Created separate layers for sky and building. Dropped dark levels in curves, burned and dodged sky, did black & white conversion, then reduced opacity of sky layer. Same treatment for building layer.
