Sallygap, Wicklow, Ireland

Description

Two exposures blended to capture this high contrast situation, taken near sunset in the wicklow hills, this lonely windswept hawthorn tree stands against the elements. Composed with rocks leading to the tree which I feel adds depth and further interest to this image.

Hi Jason. Well done on the finalist its not easy in here to get to that stage. Nice to see another photographer from Ireland here. I dont know of any others. Perhaps we could start a group.

Its a beautiful image. Im surprised also that there are no more comments on it. #5620175

Thanks John, getting a lot of editors picks but your right its tough to get into finalist stages, although i'm not surprised with the talented photographers on here. By the way your not doing too bad yourself your gallery has some fantastic world class i'd say images. #5621944
