Beautiful colors and light, Janine. I am very fond of pansies--I think they are so showy with their coloring that often looks painted on. I have found them to be deceptively fragile looking, too. When we lived in North Dakota many, many years ago we had one that lived and bloomed outside almost all winter! It grew up against the house and was sheltered by the foundation, porch steps and the overhang of the house itself against winds from the west and north; additionally, the clothes dryer vent dumped warm air on it whenever I used it and that kept it show free. Anyway, I loved the tenacity of this plant. Its name comes from "pensée" which means "thought" in French so I think it's really appropriate to send someone just to let them know you're thinking of them. #5114420
