Yes, I like this too. It reminds me of a photo by Frans Lanting, that has been published in Outdoor Photographer a couple of times. The main difference is that the other image has a white ruler. Were you consciously aware of this other photo when creating this one? There is nothing wrong with that - one of my assignments has the student try to emulate a masterpiece... it is a great way to learn how to perfect your craft.

In fact, I have this photo idea in my book to try sometime. I love the concept and congrats on becoming a finalist! #779230

Jim, I was not aware of the famous photo similar to mine, but I would love to see it.
Partial credit must be given to my wife, Susan; She was picking basil in our garden & found the little guy munching away on a leaf. We wondered, "are inchworms really 1 inch long"? (it turns out they are) So we got out the ruler & she said, "Hey that would make a great picture".
