A wonderful photo, Lisa - the level is absolutely perfect. One can imagine meeting Mr. Mallard face to face.

How'd you do that?? Very cool!! We had a huge flight of white pelicans land right behind my house last week, and I couldn't get close enough to get even a decent shot, even with the longest lens I have..Bummer..This is great!! #18161

Beautiful shot Lisa! How were you positioned for this shot? I can picture you low in a boat or on your tummy on land. Or were you in the pond with Mr. Mallard? I'm just curious. It's a great shot!

Thanks Carolyn and Cathy. I was sitting on the ground indian style at the edge of the little pond and bringing my camera even lower to the ground. These ducks were almost tame because of all the people that visit Rocky Mountain National Park. I could almost touch them. #18169
