SPEED!!!
Uploaded: November 11, 2007
I shot this for a friend, 90 plus mph up his favorite canyon. He is near his traction limit, as the rear tire is sliding out!

Thanks Dominick, I did this for a friend, and he would go thru the same curve several times. This was shot at about 90 mph. Part of the challenge was getting a good shot without getting hit! This was near the maximum speed for that turn, as the rear tire has stepped out a couple of inches from the track of the front. I really enjoyed this afternoon in the mountains.Joan Powell December 31, 2007

Wonderful action capture Jim. It always amazes me, how these people manage to ride at this angle without coming off. Bill J. #5358980Jim D. Keever January 18, 2008
Hi Bill, Thanks for your comments. It's all physics, dependent on the 2 little patches of rubber that are in contact with the road maintaining their grip! When the rear end starts to come out this way, it means that grip is going away!Barbara Waldoch February 08, 2008
