Thats a cool shot Sharon!! Very creative and all of the lights are interesting.

Donald your comment is confusing...? Why what? #726785

Kristen McKain August 22, 2004

love the lights! Nice self-portrait! #727056

Sharon Anderson August 22, 2004

Why? Would it have been as interesting if I would have just left the camera still? Why Not? I say.

Thank you Kristen and Isabel. #727672

I think it's a great shot, Sharon! Love the effects you got. How do you like your camera? I have the same model, and love everything about it except trying to focus in dark situations. Take care. #732831

Seems the "why?" should be obvious. Look what you got. Great photo... #732854

Donald K. Cherry August 24, 2004

I'm sorry for the "why" comment. I should have been more specific in my comment. What I meant was that I really didn't see the artistic value in holding a camera in front of the face and shaking it while shooting. But, obviously I was in error since this photo is so well received by many who have viewed it...I stand corrected. #732861

I dont think you should be sorry or whatever Donald.... its just your opinion on this photograph.

I don't feel Donald should be sorry either. It is your opinoin Donald and I listen to everyones opinion. But, how is is not artistic. Everything is artistic. So, do you feel that abstract artists who just throw a bunch of paint on the canvas are not artists. Or what about the people who just put say a blue square on a white canvas? Are they artists in your opinion? #738831

Congrats Sharon...I followed this picture on the CC board and I think it's justifying for you to win with it! You're right...just what is art? It is subjective at the very least and most...congratulations to you! #782876
