See me this close

Description

This capture was taken with very close at 105mm on a 5D at 1/250 sec and F/7.1. I would not recommend this for other (I almost got hurt).
Beginning tonight I will have a POLAR BEAR EXHIBIT lasting for a month. This is just one of over 74 captures that will be displayed. Many are also in my BP gallery and I invite you to revisit and check them out. These magnificant animals are threatened now, soon to be endangered and likely extinct before the end of the century and possibly by 2050. The melting ice due to global warming is their only enemy. We humans can help save them by reducing our carbon footprint or we will extinguish them from the earth. They are to magnificant to loose.

I forgot to suggest beginning at page 7 in my gallery and move forward. No need to comment but feel free if one strikes your fancy. Sit back and enjoy in the comfort of your home instead of the minus 29 degree weather we endured. Emile #5019524

This is crazy Emile, the closest we got in Churchill was the driver opened the hatch on the back deck and the bear was sticking his claws and nose up through the hole. I had to use a wide angle lens to photograph that. #9118828

Hi Phyllis I though you would get a kick out of this one. #9119760
