Thank you very much Steve! No that's not me...I'm much better looking than a rainbow trout! This is a type of sign that is found along culverts which affect streams which are used by migrating salmon. You can read about it at wdfw.wa.gov/hab/engineer/habeng.htm

When the stream flood the fish will cross the roads. They have some of the same signs down near Shelton where the rivers always flood and you can see salmon swimming across the road!
