Description

1/320s f/2.8 at 200.0mm iso200 at a village festival in Bali, Indonesia.
I took this shot through baskets framing the dancers backstage. This dancer's eyes widened the moment he saw me, and it was the right time to press the shutter. This was taken around 11 am backstage from a community center where they were holding dance competitions.

Thank you Sheryl, Emily and Dominick.

It's always a challenge to get sharp travel portraits when people you shoot are moving constantly. The challenge is accentuated when you want to get the human interest plus the cultural context in a tight portrait! I'm happy you like my little guy with the big eyes. Best regards, Aloha #4999274
