Feel I am slowly starting to turn into..."Kingfisher-Man"....
But I am just hooked on these little beauties and catching up on all the frustration I have had in the past when I never got closer as 50 meters from them.

I am now negotiating with the owners of the nature reserve where these are photographed to see if we can build a "nesting-wall" so they will have a place to nest in spring. Not sure yet if I can persuade them to build one, but I will keep my fingers crossed as I would really love to have the opportunity to photograph these blue rockets all year round!
