Description

Photographed at Observation Point, Zion Canyon in October 2007 with a Nikon D100 and Nikkor 18-200 zoom, settings unknown. Image processed with levels, curves, warming photo filter, saturation and unsharp mask in Photoshop CS. During my hike up Observation Point a snow squall showered me in flurries then raced down canyon producing a spectacular show of light in the canyon.

WOW great drama! I was just there at the end of September during some wild storms. It's a dream for photographers because you have such a different feel to this frequently photographed place. My favorite shots from that trip are from that one crazy storm day. Love your gallery! #5029582
