Description

This is the Portland Head Light in Portland Maine at sunset. I came skidding into the parking lot and literally ran away from the park security guards to quickly setup and get a number of pictures before getting locked in the park for the night!

It certainly is lovely!

One thing you might tweak with it, the lighthouse itself is kind of dull in comparison to the keepers cottage. I expect this is an artifact of the HDR process. I would either tone down the bright whites on the cottage or do some dodge or selective color lightenning on the light. The foreground and seascape are wonderful!!!!
