Farewell StrayGray

Uploaded: October 21, 2007

Description

This is one of the last pictures I have of StrayGray, relaxing in one of his leaf-beds. He had about 20 around the yard & just kept moving on trying to get comfortable. He passed away today after a year of ill health. He will be missed. Lens aperture F/3.2, shutter speed 1/388sec, focal length 28mm, taken last week.

Stray Grey was so pretty. Great capture of him. Looks like he was looking guilty.

Thank you all for taking the time to email, I appreciate it. StrayGray will surely be missed around here, he worked in the garden & helped with any building & always stopped the towels from blowing away when we were in the pool... by relaxing on them!!! #5002617

Thanks very much for your kind thoughts. As they say life goes on, & it would be terribly lonely life if you never had a pet. Thanks again. #5007663

What a wonderful image to remember him by! Love the memories you shared of him! I lost one of my furry babies about four years ago and it broke all of our hearts. So I know how hard it must be! We have since rescued and adopted two more. Liz :) #5012686

I am so sorry for your loss Chris, I feel you pain as we lost our dog almost a month ago and it still hurts. Remember the good times and look at the wonderful photographes. #5012734

Thanks for you kind thoughts. It sure isn't easy. When it was getting obvious his time was coming to an end, I said that's it, no more. About a week before it happened a handsome black & white cat turned up & hasn't left. I'll take a picture of Tuxedo to show you all soon. #5012743

Thanks for your thoughts, it is very strange to work around the yard without him talking to you. #5027378
