I have never in my life seen a hummingbird open her mouth like this! It was a real thrill for me to get this shot.

Hi Jean,
This was taken last summer with my D60 and my Tamron 70-300mm telephoto lens. I am terrible at guessing distance but she was up in the tree and the branch is maybe 15 feet. I am really glad that you like this one. It truly is one of my favorites:-)
