Yin and Yang

Uploaded: October 01, 2007

Description

According to Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang are the two primal forces controlling the whole of the universe . One negative, dark, passive, cold, wet, and feminine (yin-in this case the rock on the right) and the other (yang-the sand on the left) positive, bright, active, dry, hot and masculine. The interactions and balance of these forces in people and nature influence their behavior and fate. It is thought that everything can be categorized by this balancing system.
