Description

The medieval ramparts of the walled town of Carcasonne is a stunning location to behold especially as it is so wonderfully illuminated at night. I photographed the town from a back road. There was no hope of retaining detail in this, so I let it blacken into a silhouette and provide an attractive black fringe for the walled town.

Carcassonne Rousillon, France.
