This is a composite image created in Photoshop from individual images taken of the moon during the August 28, 2007 total eclipse. The background image was taken at the same location right before sunrise. Canon EOS 5D, 400mm f/5.6 L lens, carbon Gitzo tripod. Exposures varied from 1/400 sec @ f/5.6 and ISO 100 to 1 sec @ f/5.6 and ISO 640. It should be noted that the moon arc and position in the sky are representative approximations.
