Description

Indoor, natural light. I took many variations of this pose, using different arm placements and facial expressions.

Danea, another absolutely wonderful portrait. The lighting is incredible, you used it well. Did you use any reflectors?
Devon is beautiful & you caught a great expression. #9781

Thank you Carol, you are so kind. :-) No I did not use reflectors. She was laying on a bench and turned toward a sliding glass door. This pic was taken in a dining room which has very little light except the glass doors. I was standing off to the side and I was careful to be out of the direct light so I didn't cast a shadow on her. It was kind of squishy but I had myself and tripod between the bench and the glass doors with maybe 2-3 feet of space...lol. Talk about a make shift studio...hehehe.

Devon is a friend of mine who volunteered to pose for me. When we tried this pose I knew she was going to like it. It catches a side of her that is so pretty. It seems to draw attention to her eyes and lips. It's very flattering for her, and she was so wanderfully patient with me. I was telling her where to look, how to angle her head, and even how much to part her lips...lol.

Thanks again for your nice comments. I need some more volunteers and will definately have to take some more of her...hehehe.I'm going in for a wrist fusion surgery tomorrow (Uugh)so it will be a couple of weeks before I can takes some pictures again. #15745
